Overheard:
"I personally think it's important for superheroes to be glamorous. They are fantasies, after all, the fulfilment of wishes, and we want our fantasies to be sexy. Otherwise, why bother having them?"
- Warren Ellis, comic book writer

Do you wear glasses?
Depending on the kind of screen you use and how heavy your glasses are, some of these images might look 3D! (If you're wearing contacts, these will mostly look flat). The reds will look like they're popping out, while the blue recedes into the back. Chromostereopsis is a visual illusion whereby the impression of depth is conveyed in two-dimensional color images, usually of red-blue or red-green colors (Wikipedia) Check out these works by deviant doc3002/chromostereopsis:
Testing
Sorry, doing some testing! Test 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
deviantART is at the San Diego Comic-Con!
Awesome comic-con shot:
From left to right: (Thanks to Heidi (https://www.deviantart.com/heidi) for the image)
Artgerm (https://www.deviantart.com/artgerm) - Awesome artist!! I just love the way he draws and how he uses color. He has his own studio (IFS), and he'd some work recently for DC Comics and for the Street Fighter 3 re-release.
alohalilo (https://www.deviantart.com/alohalilo) - The guy behind the artistic style of Lilo and Stitch!
Zubby (https://www.deviantart.com/zubby) - From Udon (UdonCrew (https://www.deviantart.com/udoncrew))! Super nice guy IRL and he's doing some cool independent stuff with Skullkickers!
diablo2003 (https://www.deviantart.com/diablo2003) - A super long-time dA artist. I really like his Ultimate Marvel comic art.
spyed (https://www.deviantart.com/spyed) - Our awesome deviantART CEO!
DeevElliott (https://www.deviantart.com/deevelliott) - Previously from Radica
Happy 9th Birthday deviantART!
9 years is long in internet time =D
To celebrate this special occasion, a-r (https://www.deviantart.com/a-r) worked on a fantastic little t-shirt design. (Which I had the opportunity to pixelize in our header.)
And at $9.99 USD (9th birthday, 9 dollars... see the pattern?), it's a great deal. I believe this might be one of the lowest prices I've ever seen for a deviantWEAR shirt, so a lot of strings have been pulled (well, not literally!) to get this done.
And to top it off zilla774 (https://www.deviantart.com/zilla774) has modelled for it. =D
So get it before we run out =D
Happy Birthday deviantART!

It looks really great, but I'm having a little trouble navigating around a deviant's page. Say I'm reading a journal, and want to see their gallery or main page, there seems to be no way to reach it short of editing the URL manually.
