It came with an object held in hand
A shrouded figure with a veil of darkness
Stepped through the quiet iron-clad gates
Veering curiously into our world
As he motioned to the past

It stepped forward; shivering mist covered its face
Its hands brought the object within view
The clashing of cold ceramic plates filled the air
It was a vase
A broken vase

The messenger did not move
Its hands stood motionless
The vase had been a gift for me in the past
A time when I was careful
A time when everything was calm

I reached out for the vase
Hoping the pieces would pick themselves up

i see all the buttons as two. there are two rows of them, one underneath another. lol
you have done great work, thanks for making these buttons. theyre easy for eyes, and i love to see them every day
