It came with an object held in hand
A shrouded figure with a veil of darkness
Stepped through the quiet iron-clad gates
Veering curiously into our world
As he motioned to the past

It stepped forward; shivering mist covered its face
Its hands brought the object within view
The clashing of cold ceramic plates filled the air
It was a vase
A broken vase

The messenger did not move
Its hands stood motionless
The vase had been a gift for me in the past
A time when I was careful
A time when everything was calm

I reached out for the vase
Hoping the pieces would pick themselves up

The one with the gear looks better, but both look good. I like the position and everything, good representation of how a good match is. Cept the player would either be a lot skinnier of fatter and have acne. ;) (Wink)
